Climate Students Sweden
Sweden (National)
Our mission is foremost to halt the climate crisis by focusing on Swedish universities and their emissions. This is done through e.g. the climate action ranking. We are around twenty local groups.
Climate Students Movement- Kenya
Kenya (National)
The mission of the organization is to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for empowerment to impact higher education institutions and the society to combat climate change. Membership is drawn from students from diverse courses interested in the climate change cause.
Cycluni
Pakistan (Local)
Cycluni is a project started by medical students at the Aga Khan University, Karachi to make university transport in all campuses around Karachi and Pakistan more eco-friendly and sustainable. We have started this mission by developing a prototype of an cycling app which can be used for on-campus bike lending transport. It also helps to keep students a check of their carbon footprint, as well as encouraging them to do other climate friendly activities such as plantation etc.

Netherlands (National)
Studenten voor Morgen is the student-network for a sustainable future in higher education in the Netherlands. As a national organization, we strive to stimulate the collaboration between more than 40 member-organizations. We integrate sustainability in higher education by stimulating the consciousness about sustainable development among students, employers and others involved. Furthermore, we organize different projects and are open to discussions around the subjects ‘sustainability’ and ‘education’ on local, national and international level.

Environmental Community of Durham University (Eco DU)

We are a lobbying group of Durham University, aiming to push for a greener university at the systemic level. We are organised in subgroups with each having a subgroup leader running their projects (e.g. Biodiversity subgroup leader running a wildflower meadow project). We are aiming to be a group that is as inclusive as possible
NTU GreenSparks
Singapore (Local)
Student based eco-group at Nanyang Technological University aiming to reduce the university’s emissions with the following goals:
1. Promote transparency of figures on the carbon emissions in universities
2. Get the universities to set a goal to reduce their emissions (as required to keep within 1.5 degree Celsius temperature increase from pre-industrial temperatures)
3. Work with university to design and implement a plan to reduce university’s emissions
4. Form a national network between universities for better cooperation
Projects:
1. Reviewed their university’s yearly sustainability report to identify gaps and successes in the university’s environmental policy and track their progress of their commitment to their sustainability manifesto.
2. Hosted a networking event between students and teaching faculty, Sustainability Education Engagement Network to highlight the concerns and visions that they have for the university. A working group was set up afterwards in hopes of executing some of the discussions.
Youth for Green Nature

We are a new organization, but we have an execution plan for this year despite the financial difficulty. We have already done some awareness-raising actions on climate change, campaign on the fight against floods that cause pollution via the dumping of waste throughout the city. And we plan to do more with our annual work plan.
UNICLIMA
Brazil (Local)
Uniclima seeks to drive higher education institutions to effectively apply the scientific knowledge they produce within their curricula, recognizing their crucial role in training young people capable of tackling the climate emergency in every professional niche.
We recognize higher education as a privilege that comes with the responsibility to deliver to the job market young people with mitigation skills and a systemic vision of the climate crisis, a requirement increasingly demanded by the job market in the transition to a green economy.
Projects:
1. Developed a Climate Commitment Letter for our university (PUC Minas) at the beginning of our journey and has been involved in workshops for students regarding green jobs and the role of higher education institutions, the most recent being at the National Meeting of International Relations Students 2024.
2. Currently, they are working on a research project regarding the state of the art of climate education at the higher education level in Brazil and its relevance to the future of climate careers in Brazil.
Climate Students Movement Nigeria

The Climate Student Movement is a youth-led organization mobilizing students across the country to take bold and transformative action on the climate crisis. Founded in 2024, the Movement believes that young people must be at the forefront of shaping solutions to the greatest existential threat facing humanity and the planet.
The Climate Student Movement is a revolutionary, intersectional youth force rising to confront the climate crisis and fight for climate justice. With a rapidly growing base of high school and college student members across the nation, we are the moral leaders taking bold action when our futures are at stake. Grounded in the principles of environmental justice, we wield an innovative combination of education, advocacy, community resilience projects, and strategic nonviolent protests. We give voice to the youth, Indigenous peoples, and frontline communities most impacted by environmental racism and fossil fuel capitalism.
Projects:
In collaboration with Taraba State ministry of environment, they carried out tree planting activities on the month of June 2021 about three years ago within the university community and organized a mini campaign for the green campus while working on spreading the word of climate students movement to other institutions across the country.
Capitulo Estudiantil De Ingenieria Ambiental (AMET)

Our mission is to encourage the students of environmental engineering of National University of Colombia to take initiatives around different areas that environmental engineering involves through activities and projects that strengthen their knowledge and that contribute to the college’s sustainable development.
The activities that we do are around environmental education like meetings and workshops and we like to promote scientific divulgation.
We would like to participate in congress and workshops of different environmental subjects.
Complex Ry

Complex Ry is a student association for the Leadership for Change master’s degree program at the University of Tampere, Finland. We aim to promote sustainability through initiatives, projects, collaborations, and events with an interdisciplinary consideration to build awareness, inspire actions, and connect diverse groups and peoples. We recognize that together we are more powerful to make an impact. Therefore, we seek to strengthen our network to support reaching collective sustainability goals within our university and beyond.

Earth Systems Association (ESA) was founded on the 31st of August 2013 by a group of students sharing a common interest in student activism and earth sciences. The main aim of the organisation is to represent students reading for a B. Sc. (Hons) in Earth Systems at the University of Malta. ESA also aims to share with its viewers knowledge about Earth Sciences while increasing environmental awareness and sustainability in society.

PowerShift Nepal is a youth-led organization. We work on the philosophy of knowledge, action, and promotion where youth gain knowledge on climate change. Our mission is to mainstream female leadership to combat Climate change and other environmental issues along with fighting for climate change.

They work on climate education and capacity enhancement of young people in sector of climate change.
Cambridge Carbon Literacy

By running Carbon Literacy, which is free and open to all, we hope to inspire students into taking both personal, group and systemic climate action. The sessions also give time for conscious students to get together and discuss ideas, fostering creation of new networks in the university. We are also keen to expand beyond just our University so are also delivering the training to local state schools in Cambridge.

Our aim is the line of “For save earth, save climate”. We want to a better future for the children. We have the some ideas and some plans for our beautiful earth. We want to gives awareness among the people by many project.
Projects:
1. Climate problem-solving Olympiad: The institutions involved are: Burichang Ershad College, Bangladesh Class; 11th and 12th grade students. Its purpose is for students to solve real climate related problem in Bangladesh.
2. Climate talk 1.0: The institutions involved are: Burichang merit care technical school and madrasa, Bangladesh Class:6,7,8,9 grades. Its purpose is to extent climate education in school for students.
Gamma Epsilon International Zeta Rho Chapter

The members of Gamma Epsilon – Green Thinking is mandated to do environmental projects such as establishment of native trees reserve parks, planting and nurturing native trees species and educating the people across the Philippines. The members are students, youth and their advisers are experts, scientists and researchers in the field of Environmental Management, Forestry, Soil Science, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Medical Science, Environmental Law, Veterinary Science, Wildlife Management, Remote Sensing, Entomology, Fisheries, Meteorology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Marine Science, Microbiology, Parasitology, Toxicology, Geology, Agricultural Engineering, Soil and Water Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, etc.
We do also writing environmental research projects/papers, drafting policies that pertains to environment and conduct lectures in climate change and others.

Progressive Climate Foundation (PCF) is a youth-led movement dedicated to addressing the urgent climate crisis in Pakistan.
Vision: PCF is fighting for Climate Justice, climate finance, and safeguarding our nation from the challenges and impacts of Climate Change.
Mission: Our mission is to empower and mobilize the youth of Pakistan to take decisive action against climate change. Through education, advocacy, and tangible initiatives, we strive to mitigate its worst effects.

University of Dundee Climate Activists

We are a group of postgraduate students at the University of Dundee studying sustainability and climate change. We are climate change advocates fighting for a common cause and advocating for climate change issues and how it can be addressed. Our group’s mission is to educate people on climate change and encourage sustainable practices to mitigate climate change impacts.
Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network
Yemen (National)
This network (AYSDN) is a youth-led regional network launched among youth professionals and experts from the MENA region working on Sustainable Development Goals. The network aims to develop effective ideas and solutions that enhance the participation of young people and contribute to the promotion of their leading role in the development of societies. Our main program and intervention is Climate Action, where our main concern is facing the climate issues targeting youth and future leaders, those who can make real change.
