We invite national and international students organisations to apply for membership in our movement. Together, we can mobilise to a global movement that can have a greater impact and reduce HEIs’ emissions faster.

There are many reasons to join our movement. From our forerunner, the Climate Students Sweden association, we can share a lot of experiences and methods. It has started 17 local chapters, influenced 37 universities and collage to adopt a Climate Framework, and the Swedish Ministry of Higher Education to change its appropriation letter. In 2020, it has developed a Climate Action Paper and a Climate Action Ranking to impact higher education institutions in Sweden even more.

The following benefits is included in the membership in the Climate Students Movement for your international or national organisation:

  • Being part of a global movement is strengthening
  • Building organisation and advocacy capacity
  • Sharing resources makes us stronger together
  • Finding common problems and solve them together
  • Networking and finding contacts for collaborations
  • Reaching out to and engage more students locally

To apply for membership you need to work in line with our framework’s mission and goals and actively participate in our network meetings once a month.

Write to us to become a member Include contact details to your representatives for our network that we can publish on our webpage.
